Introduction to the LUA script editor

The Extended Edition of LoriotPro includes a new plugin that provide a complete LUA Script Development Environment (LSDE).

Accessing the LSDE

This program is called from the LoriotPro main menu tool option. You can edit your script with your preferred editor but our LSDE provides advanced debugging function and code coloring.

LUA Script Development Environment (LSDE) povides 4 workspaces

  1. Editor Window
  2. Variable edition and status window
  3. Console message window
  4. Active View display window

LSDE description

Warning : You can create and run script from the LUA script Development Environment but like in any development tool a draft code can create unexpected behavior and crash your system in debugging phase. We recommend to develop scripts on a system that is not linked to production environment.
