The router tree has specific tools dedicated to router management.

Remark: The router should be selected first before you call up any of these tools.

This option adds a new router in the tree. |

This option destroys the selected router. Remark : The associated hosts are not destroyed, only the RouterID host parameter of each host object that comprises the router object is reset to value 0.0.0.0. |

This option detaches the interface (host) form the router. Remark: The associated host is not destroyed; only the RouterID host parameter of the host object is reset to value 0.0.0.0. |

Perform an IP ping on the selected interface or RouterID. |

Perform a telnet on the selected interface or RouterID. |

Start your favorite Web navigator on the selected interface or RouterID. |

Force a manual refresh of the router tree display. |
